The exclusivity of art works in NOBLIE collection is obtained by the mastery of its creators. The skills, implemented in manufacture and decoration of each one article are result of tradition, secret passed from one generation to another and require special sense of artistry. The individual approach in creating makes each object a piece of art with its own aesthetic. It is not just craft, it is a kind of ritual to arrange the metal works in a magical sequence to reach the perfection of form and decoration.

The craft of custom knifemaking is akin to jewelry. In a similar vein, the foreman is supposed to create the peace of art from the bunch of metal, combining different materials, precious and basic, gemstones, bones, tusks, wielding different tools that can easily ruin the entire project due to angular movement, and, finally, combining different methods and techniques.

Traditions vs. innovations

The manufacturing technology along with craftsman’s proficiency, creativity and talent are instrumental in the given field. As the world has moved own, the craft of knife production has also undergone certain changes and faced the inventions of nowadays. The latter play a significant role as they are aimed to simplify the entire process, preserve manufacturer’s time, labor and resources.

In our craft, we aim to combine the two things at once. Some methods are time-proved and need no alterations due to their maturity, established order, predictable and controlled outcomes. Nonetheless, we are always ready to expose some elements of the process to new things, to master the new techniques or to introduce the advanced equipment and instruments.

The process itself

Let us open the veil and invite you to a sort of excursion through our workshop. No doubts, it takes hours and days of hard work for a custom knife maker to create the weapon aimed to win the admiring glances and the praise of its future owners and even well-versed collectors. The cutting of blade shape, its further processing, forging, profiling, heat-treating, grinding, etching, fitting of scales, bolsters and overall inlay.
  3. Manufacturing of the grip, its carving, incrustation, engraving or other possible design options.
  4. Final assembling of the components, finishing.
  5. Feeling admiration and proud for the executed work.

And the last but not the least thing about our work concerns high professionalism, wealth of experience, love and respect for every created knife, dirk, dagger, saber, sword and, of course, our customers. The manufactured weapon with its history and soul is aimed to suit the character, preferences and habitudes of its noble owner.
