A composite scabbard of assembled metal and wooden parts. Metal cast body, birch burl insertion and decorative metal elements on top. Brass cast and gilded snap fastener and ball finial. Very fine animal figures engravings. A hunting scene on one side of two wolves in silver and a running red deer in gold. Trees and bushes of gold on the background. Ornamental engravings in gold as additional decoration on both sides.
