Blade of stainless steel 440C. Gilded engraving of battleship on one side of the choil.
Handle, finely elaborated of assembled metal and wooden parts. A complex cross guard, brass made and then gilded, with two opposite curved ear ended quillons. Decorative ring with leaves engraving, joining the guard with the grip. Crown shaped and engraved pommel with ball ending.
The scabbard is metal forged and rich adorned with fine engraving and depictions. Decorative locket with a portrait of Emperor Peter the Great depicted on one side. Notching decorated opposite side. The order of Saint Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, considered the first and the highest order of cavalry is depicted in the middle of the scabbard. Additional decoration of engraved, gilded and blackened ornaments on both sides of the scabbard.
