Discover a unique Shamshir, meticulously crafted through traditional metalwork and decorative techniques including forging, gold plating, inlay, nickel plating, notching, and wood carving. The blade, made of authentic wootz steel, is single-edged with a slight curve, echoing the classic style of traditional Persian sabers, and adorned with ornate engravings on both sides.
The handle is an intricate assembly of metal and wood components. It features a brass, engraved, and gilded cross guard. A guard is adorned with a prominent gem surrounded by smaller stones. Curved, gilded quillions with silver-coated ball tips add elegance, leading to a decorative band inlaid with gems connecting to the pommel. The pommel boasts a curved, dome shape with a silver-coated semi-sphere and a gilded ball finish, complemented by detailed engravings.
The entirely metal scabbard is lavishly adorned with silver and gold-plated decorations. It showcases three gilded elements: the mouthpiece, a central locket, and the chape, each enriched with engravings and large gem inlays. Between these are two silver-plated layers featuring gilded engravings and bands of small gem inlays. The tip is silver-coated and engraved, while two ornamental hangers, gilded and securely fastened to the mouthpiece and locket, complete this opulent ensemble.
